Sophia wishes the Women’s National Football Team best of luck in the World Cup

Brave young footballer, Sophia Dawson (12), has a message for @‌FAIWomen @‌Katie_McCabe11 in today’s @‌FIFAWWC match against Nigeria. @‌IrelandFootball

From Mornington, Co Meath, Sophia was diagnosed with epidermolysis bullosa simplex (EBS) two months after being born. Her journey with football hasn’t been easy but she doesn’t let that stop her.

Her team, Donacarney Celtic Under 12s won the league and Sophia won Players’ player of the year!
