In the weeks leading up to the Irish Life Dublin Marathon, you can do 5K twice a week, 10K every weekend, or simply walk 40,000 steps throughout October. The choice is yours. All you need to do is ask your friends and loved ones to support your fundraising efforts to help team Emma and Colin meet their target.
Absolutely, you can run in aid of Debra, and we are extremely delighted that you want to support everyone impacted by EB in Ireland. By doing so, you’ll be helping Emma and Colin meet their fundraising target, which is incredibly important to us.
To let us know that you’re running the marathon for Debra, please get in touch with us. We will then send you a Debra T-shirt so you can proudly show your support during the race. Additionally, you can set up a fundraising page on Emma’s Run to 40 iDonate event page, which you can find here: Emma’s Run to 40. This page will allow you to share your marathon journey with friends and loved ones, encouraging them to donate and support Emma’s Run to 40.
We are thrilled to have your support and look forward to cheering you on during your marathon journey. Thank you for choosing to make a difference with Debra.
While Debra doesn’t have dedicated charity marathon places, there’s a possibility that some spots might become available in July as participants return their entries, in the Dublin Marathon Transfer Window. We can certainly reach out to the organisers on your behalf to express your interest in fundraising for Debra.
Although we can’t guarantee a spot, we’re excited to make this effort for you.
